"2nd Annual TEXAS INDEPENDENT COUNTRY FESTIVAL" - August 8, 2010
On Sept. 11-12 join us for the 2nd Annual "TEXAS INDEPENDENT COUNTRY FESTIVAL" . Come have fun bring friends and family, for two days of all day music, fun, food, arts and crafts, and meet n greet artist, bands, songwriters, and industry executives.
Saturday night special performance by Jay Scott Berry, Australia's newest senstation. Featuring two bands - Kathy Bauer Band (Bandera, TX), Etched In Stone Band (Bryan, TX) and the Patty David Band (Austin, TX). Introducing Dean Strickland. Featuring Texas Drover Recording Artists - Jena Kidd (Austin, TX), Clarissa (San Marcos, TX), and Kenny Lee (Nashville, TN). Performances by Diamond Duo, Bad Bob Rohan, Liz Talley, Todd Tally, (Diamond In The Rough) Aprylle Gilbert and 12 Yr old recording artist Caitlyn Brette of Oklahoma.
Events will start with a tribute to the victims/heroes of 9-1-1 at the Old Silver Spur Dancehall, Bandera, TX. Activities start at 10 am on Saturday, September 11, with a Veterans Presentation of Colors followed by welcome and opening words by Nita Jenkins. Immediately following will be remarks by the Mayor, Police Chief and the Fire Chief. The weekend will be filled with fun, food, arts and crafts, and music all day long until 8 pm. On Sunday, September 12, events will begin at 10 am and end at 5 pm.

SINGER/SONGWRITER, BANDS, ACTS
To register as a singer/songwriter, band or act, submit your name, email, genre, and phone number to LNPM@aol.com. Individual artists’ fee for backup band is $200 for 8 songs. The fee must be included with your application and songs must be on CD and submitted no later than August 15, 2010, and in the order in which you will sing. The band will chart your music.
VENDORS
To register as a vendor, submit your name, email, address and phone number and type of booth sales/product to LNPM@aol.com or call Lou Nelson at 512-971-2350. All vendors fees are $75/space. Food vendors are $100/space. Food vendors need to make sure to provide a copy of their Health Department certificate.
